My Guest Designer spot on Prairie Fairy!

A couple of weeks ago i won the Birthday challenge over at Prairie Fairy and part of my prize was to be a GD this week!

The challenge this time is 'For a Sweetheart'!  Well the other part of my prize was to choose some digis, well elephants are my FAVOURITE animal and as soon as i saw Elsie and Elwin Elephant, i knew i had to have them and use them for my GD spot, so here is what i did with them:

Inside

The tag says 'My love will be your's forever'

And the sentiment inside says 'If i had a flower for every time i think about you, i could walk forever in my garden'

The papers are the Born to shop range.

Sew Many Cards Challenge - Green with Envy

Hi everyone. We loved seeing every one's monkey cards. This weeks challenge is a little more generic and it is GREEN with envy. We want to see green. This is a great time to start on those St Patrick Day's cards or something for spring. Many of us would love to see green when we look out our windows. It has been a tough winter for many of our friends around the world.

You do not have to use a Sew Many image, but we love it when you do!!! Don't have any? Head over to the Sew Many Cards store and pick up the Freebie that is there today(Friday) and today only.

Here is what i did:

For this project i decided to make a valentines card with a difference.  The panels on the front are embossed using the swiss dots folder from cuttlebug. The flowers on the inside are the Marth Stewart Water Lily punch.

Valentine Tilda

I love this image of Tilda!  I coloured her with promarkers and added glossy accents to her little hearts. Although you can't really see it there is some lace in both corners.  The Red backing paper is actually a christmas paper!

Molly Bloom part 2!

This is the card i sent to Susan aka TomsMom for her birthday.  I used the little girl from the free Molly Bloom stamps from a magazine. She is coloured with promarkers and layered on to a Nellie doily which was cut from paper from Wild Rose Studio.  The blue backing paper is Papermania.

I hope Susan liked it!

Happy Valentines Day!

I'm not too sure about this card, i can't decide if i like it or not.  Anyway, i have used one of the Bentley Bear stamps free with a magazine, coloured him with promarkers and layered him onto a Nellie cut doily.  I inked the edges of the doily, although i didn't mean to. ( i had left the ink out from stamping Bently and the doily dropped into it! *rollseyes*)  That is then layered on to a square punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

Thanks for looking!

Hanglar Tunnel Card

A while ago i got a load of tunnel cards, but i never got round to using them, so the other night i was looking through my stash and found them, so after an hour of trying to decide what i would do with it this is what i came up with.

The card is Kaban
The image is hanglar
Coloured with Promarkers
Flowers are papermania
Greeting is Jolly Nation
Butterfly punched out using a Martha Stewart punch

Engagment Invitations

My husbands uncle has got engaged to his girlfriend and they asked me to make them 80!!!! invites for their engagement party in February.  His fiance and me sat down and looked through all my magazines (i have ALOT!) and she found a design like this the only difference is it had a flower in the middle instead of the punched heart and glasses, oh and it didn't have the extra heart at the top too.  They were pleased with them although i wasn't lol, but as long as they were happy!

Molly Bloom Strikes again!!

Alot of my crafty friends over at MSE have used these stamps and said how lovely they were to ink up and colour and i couldn't agree more!  I brought the magazine these gorgeous stamps were a free gift with, the day it came out, but i negleted them until now.  This one is the little boy (obviously lol) I thought i would go with the distress feel that was in the magazine, so once i inked and coloured him i got to work at 'distressing' the papers, which are from papermania.  The balloon and his shoes have been glossy accented.

Thanks for looking and i hope you like it.

Tilda in the Rain

I totally fell in love with this Tilda.  The paper i used for her was a freebie in a magazine a little while ago.

Updated Tilda!

I posted the infinished version of this the other day and asked for help.  As usual i can always rely on my followers to help me out and it was suggested that maybe putting flowers on it would complete it, so i did and i think i am a little happier with it now, but i'm still unsure.  Anyway here she is:
